6CO2 +6H2O --> C6H12O6 +O2

It is a photolytic reaction where decompositiom doesn't take place.

A photolytic reaction is one in which a chemical compound is broken down by the photons

(particles of light).

Photosynthesis reaction:

CO2 + H2O + sunlight → C6H12O6 + O2 + H2O

In the photosynthesis reaction, sunlight provides energy to the plants. This reaction is not an example of

decomposition reaction as the energy released do not get decomposed in any form.
