THERE ARE MAINLY THREE TYPES OF PLANT MOVEMENT -
TROPIC,TACTIC, NASTIC
THERE IS A PART IN TROPIC NAMED AS HYDROTROPIC MOVEMENT WHICH IS MAINLY DEPENDENT ON WATER.
THE POSITIVE HYDROTROPIC MOVEMENT IS THE MOVEMENT OF ROOTS TO THE SOURCE OF WATER . WHEN SUCH A PORTION UNDER THE GROUND IS LACKING OF WATER,THE ROOT GOES MORE AND MORE DEEPER IN SEARCH OF WATER IN ORDER TO CONTINUE IT'S LIFESTYLE. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF MOVEMENT OF A PLANT PART CAUSED BY LOSS OF WATER.
