Aim:To prove matter attracts each other.
Material Required:One beaker with half filled water and wooden block.
Procedure:
1)Take a wooden block.Try to break it by hitting it.
2)Take half filled water and try to move you hand in it.
Observation:You cannot break or pass your hand through wooden block.But you can pass your hand through it.
Conclusion:Due to solid has more IMF(Intermolecular Spaces) than Liquids that is why we cannot break it.The particles in wooden block Attracts each other that is why we cannot break it. Thus,we prove that particles of matter each other.
