suppose a bus is moving and a person is standing near the tree outside the bus . The person sitting inside the bus will find the trees moving but the person standing outside the bus will find the passengers in the bus moving. The passenger finds that the person sitting next to him is at rest.

A person sitting in the cabin of a moving train is at rest with respect to other people in the cabin but it is in motion with respect to a person standing on the platform.
