A train/ metro that starts from rest gradually picks up speed and starts accelerating. At this stage, the speed increases but after sometime, the train acquires a constant speed( runs at a uniform speed). On approaching the next station, the train starts slowing down in order to halt( speed decreases).

For that time, we can say that the object is moving uniformly. When the person who is driving the vehicle, reaches the destination, has to decrease its speed.
