When we eat food that contains fat, mostly triglycerides, it goes through our stomach and intestines. This is used for the energy of body and excess intake of  triglycerides store as a fat. Fat molecules are a rich source of energy for the body. Liver is essential for fat digestion and detoxification. Otherwise excessive amounts of fat get deposited in the liver and lead to fatty liver disease. Fatty liver disease has no as such visible symptoms. But weakness and loss of appetite can develop. It can be cured easily by alteration in diet, alcohol avoidance, regular physical exercise and some other lifestyle changes. There are two types of fatty liver: alcoholic, non-alcoholic fatty liver.
