Look there are three covalent bonds in NH3 . Each hydrogen make a single bond with nitrogen and there is also a pair of electron which is unpaired from nitrogen.

So I think the correct answer is 1.5 moles. Because the strength of a covalent bond is measured by its bond dissociation energy, that is, the amount of energy required to break that particular bond in a mole of molecules.
