Volume of cylinder=12πr^2
volume of cone=(12πr^2)/3*4=πr^2
if cone is removed, the volume of water in cylinder will reduced to 11πr^2 because the volume of cone will be eliminated from that of water(12πr^2-πr^2=11πr^2)
Therefore on comparing
πr^2h=11πr^2
we get h=11cm
Thus the height to which water level will be reduced is 11cm
