Give 5 reasons to justify the need to conserve water

Dear Student,

The following points may help you :

a.Water is available in abundance, around three fourth of earth is covered with water. However, only a small  proportion of it actually accounts for fresh water which can be put to use rest is saline water not suitable for human consumption.
b.  Water is a scarce resource and a life sustaining resource.
c.   Water scarcity is the result of following factors:
           i.  Over exploitation of water due to excessive irrigation
          ii. Growing population, Industrialisation and Urbanisation
          iii.  Unequal distribution of  water among different social groups. The poor in the rural areas blame the state machinery of diverting water in urban areas and benefiting the rich.
          iv.   Deteriorating quality of water due to pollution, dumping of chemical and industrial waste, garbage dumping.
          v. Water scarcity is also impacted by the amount of precipitation which varies from area to area.

1. we need to conserve water as we need it and its also important for the next generation to use it.

2. it is also a need of the people but they r not using it properly which is leading to water pollution.

3. we should have a control in using water as its so precious than anything in the world.......
