Redox reactions are those reactions in which oxidation and reduction both take place simultaneously.

Explanation:

Oxidation-reduction reactions are also known as Redox reactions.

examples of Redox reaction which occurs in everyday life is PHOTOSYNTHESIS,RESPIRATION & COMBUSTION

1) PHOTOSYNTHESIS -Green plants takes carbon dioxide and water in the presence of light to form carbohydrate and oxygen .the Overall reaction is as follows

6CO₂ + 6 H₂O → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6 O₂

2) RESPIRATION - Respiration allows life to sustains and allows organism to liberate energy

theoverall reaction is

C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6 O₂ → 6CO₂ + 6 H₂O +36 ATP

where ATP is adenosine tri phosphate a simple compound which provides energy.

3)COMBUSTION - In the burning of organic material in wood represents the redox reactions.Here the compound which is burned is oxidised and the oxygen is reduced.

Answer: The three examples of redox reactions are photosynthesis, respiration, and combustion.

Explanation:

The reactions in which both oxidation and reduction take place simultaneously are known as redox reactions.

A few examples of redox reactions occurring in our day-to-day lives are listed below:

  1. The reaction of photosynthesis is an example of a redox reaction. It is written as: 6CO_{2} + 6H_{2} OC_{6} H_{12} O_{6} +6O_{2}
  2. The respiration reaction occurring in human bodies is also an example of redox reactions. It is written as: C_{6} H_{12} Ox_{6} +6O_{2}6CO_{2} +6H_{2} O+36 \ ATP
  3. The combustion reaction is another very common example of a redox reaction. It is written as: CH_{4}+O_{2}CO_{2} +H_{2} O

Hence, the three examples of redox reactions are photosynthesis, respiration, and combustion.
