Manure

• Manure is an organic compound which is obtained by the decomposition of plants and animal wastes. It is produced with the help of microbes or fungus.

• Manure provides a lot of organic matter to the soil. Manure improves soil texture, humus and the water holding capacity of soil.

Fertilizer

• Fertilizer is an inorganic compound. It is produced in industies with the help of various chemicals due to which crop productivity is increased.

• Fertilizers don't provide any soil texture or humus to the soil. It can be quickly absorbed by the plants as compared to manure.
