micro nutrients - The nutrients which is needed in small quantity is known as micro nutrients. example: iron, zinc, copper
macro nutrients - the nutrients which is needed in large quantity is known as macro nutrients.
example: nitrogen, calcium
macro nutrients - the nutrients which is needed in large quantity is known as macro nutrients.

> MACRONUTRIENTS :- Those nutrients which are required in large quantities can be stated as macronutrients. Generally, there are 3 types of this nutrient which are mainly required by a body. They are :-
• Carbohydrates/Sugars
• Fats/Lipids
• Proteins
> Macronutrients provide these 3 in the form of calories.
> MICRONUTRIENTS :- These are those requirements of the body which are enough in only traces. They function the normal growth and development of a body.
• Examples are :- Iodine, manganese, selenium and molybdenum.
