Examples of torque in daily life :

• When we try to open the door, we grab on the door handle and provide a force. This leads to application of TORQUE that causes the door to rotate on the hinge.

• When we try to open the tyre nut-bolts with a wrench , we apply torque on the wrench. This helps the nut-bolts to rotate and open up.

• Torque is applied by the vehicular engines on the axle leading to rotatory movement of the tyres.
