Kabir was one of the greatest personalities in the history of our country. The Hindus, Muslims , Sikhs think of Kabir as a great guru , teacher and a religious figure , he taught the people devotion and humanity. Kabir wrote couplets (DOHAS) and short poems. His compositions convey meanings and wisdom. Although Kabir lived hundreds of years ago, his poem and teachings are sung with love and reverence even today. He used simple words examples from everyday life to illustrate his point. Kabir died in 1518.
