1) glucose + enzymes = carbon dioxide + ethanol / lactic acid.

Glucose is broken down into pyruvic acid first in the cytoplasm... and then in yeast pyruvic acid is converted into ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide and energy is released...In muscle cells pyruvic acid is converted into lactic acid when oxygen supply is deficient... and in normal other cells where oxygen supply ISVs sufficient it isn’t converted into carbon dioxide and water and energy in the form of ATP is stored
