The poem Silver gives a beautiful illustration of the beauty of the earth at night. The shine of the moon and the stars give everything a silvery look. The fruits on the trees appear as if they are made of silver. The silver effect is also noticed on the paws of the sleeping dog, feathers of the doves, and claws of the mice. The stream and also the reeds near it also look as if they are silver coated.
