Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, in the Kingdom of Württemberg in the German Empire, on 14 March 1879 and died on 18 April 1955 (aged 76)  Princeton, New Jersey, US.

Although Jewish, the Einsteins did not follow Judaism. Albert attended a Catholic primary school at age 5 for three years. Later, at the age of eight, Einstein was transferred to the Luitpold Gymnasium where he attended elementary and high school for seven years before leaving Germany. Although Einstein was very tough at the time, he still did well in Catholic schools in the natural sciences.
