this cells are thin walled but posses thickenings of cellulose and pectic substance at the corners where whole number of cells join together .
the tissue provide flexibility to soft arial plant e.g leaves of plant so that they can bend without breaking
2. this cavities store gases and provide buoyancy to aquatic plant to help them float.
