Gulliver told the king about the plight of yahoos in his country. Yahoos were employed in travelling, racing or drawing chariots. Although they were treated with much kindness and care, they did not get the compassion that they deserved. They were sold if they were injured or sick. The yahoos were forced into drudgery til they died. Even after they died, their skin was stripped and sold while their bodies were left to rot or eaten by other animals. Men used whips to keep the yahoos in control.
