First is sun is at the centre in SCM(sun centered model) and earth is in ECM.
Second is in SCM force of gravity between sun and moving planets/bodies around it create centripetal or required acceleration. In ECM gravitational force of earth will do this work.
Earth centred models may collide in a time less that SCM.
Number of Objects moving round in SCM and ECM will differ as gravitational force in both is not same and of different capacity and limits.
Thanks.
