Difference in linear motion and circular motion.

Explanation:

  • Linear motion is the natural motion from an object, it travels in a diagonal line. It is an object, which doesn't affect by the only force that can proceed in a circular motion that permanently, per Newton's First Law of Motion.
  • Circular motion is an object's moving across a circle or movement across a circular direction. It can also be consistent, with fixed elastic rotational velocity and fixed speed, or anti-uniform with something like a varying rotational velocity.

Answer:

Linear Motion=>

1. Linear motion is also called rectilinear motion.

2. Linear motion is about the motion on a straight line in one-dimension.

3. When the object travels along a straight line it changes its position along with time.

4.  Newton's first law of motion states that if an object doesn't experience a net force then it will continue to move in straight line until they get net force.

Circular Motion=>

1. Circular motion is also called circular motion.

2. Circular motion is about the motion on the circumference of circle or we can say the rotation of object on a circular path.

3. It has a rotation around a fixed axis of the object which is three-dimensional and it involves circular motion of all its parts.

4. As the object is moving in circular direction then its velocity vector is changing its direction continuously and also the object is in constant acceleration due to the centripetal force is direction of center of rotation . If the object doesn't remain in acceleration then it will move in straight line as said in Newton's first law of motion.
