a simple exam is of the body moving on a circular path with a constant speed . in this case though the speed remains constant, yet the direction changes hence the body is said to be accelerated

if the speed had been constant then too it would have been accelerated motion because of direction change
then earth's revolution is not accelerated motion because...its speed isnt constant though the direction changes.
