a simple exam is of the body moving on a circular path with a constant speedĀ . in this case though the speed remains constant, yet the direction changes hence the body is said to be accelerated

archisadutta: isnt it constant!??
archisadutta: ohh yeah it isnt constant. So will earth's revolution be a accelerated motion(without speed change) or not???!
ApoorvVerma: if the speed had been constant then too it would have been accelerated motion because of direction change
archisadutta: then earth's revolution is not accelerated motion because...its speed isnt constant though the direction changes.
ApoorvVerma: no,
ApoorvVerma: try to understand
ApoorvVerma: if speed changes, then acceleration is there
ApoorvVerma: if direction changes, acceleration is there,
ApoorvVerma: if both change, acceleration is there
ApoorvVerma: i hope you got that
