Examples of Unstructured interview : Oral history is a type of unstructured interview that gathers historical information about a research subject by interviewing people who have knowledge  of the research subject.

Example of Semi-structured interviews : couple interviews, two spouses can result in "the production of rich data, including observational data."

• In structured interviews, questions are planned ,created in advance and  candidates are asked the same questions in the same order.

• In Structured interview , It is easy to compare the answers and hire the right job candidate.

• In an unstructured interview , the interviewer asks questions which are not prepared in advance but arise spontaneously in a free-flowing conversation. Here different candidates are asked different questions.

• A semi-structured interview can be defined as a combination of Structured and Unstructured interview . The interviewer asks few predetermined questions while the rest of the questions are not planned in advance.
