1)Solids are very tightly packed, liquids are packed a little less tight than solids and gases are very loose.

2)Solids have a large intermolecular force, liquids have less intermolecular force and gases have very less intermolecular force.

3) Solids have small intermolecular spaces, liquids have more intermolecular spaces than solids and gases have the most intermolecular spaces.

4)Solids are mostly dense metals(other than plastics,etc.), liquids are almost all non metals(except mercury) and gases are all non metals.

5)Solids are generally very dense, liquids are less dense except for mercury(which is a metal) and gases are the least dense
