Examples of Sublimation :

The best example of sublimation is dry ice which is a frozen form of carbon dioxide. When dry ice gets exposed to air, dry ice directly changes its phase from solid-state to gaseous state which is visible as fog.

The most typical example of deposition would be frost .

Frost is the deposition of water vapour from humid air or air containing water vapour on to a solid surface. Solid frost is formed when a surface, for example a leaf, is at a temperature lower than the freezing point of water and the surrounding air is humid.

Evaporation commonly occurs in everyday life .

When you get out of the shower, the water on your body evaporates as you dry. If you leave a glass of water out, the water level will slowly decrease as the water evaporates. One important example of evaporation is sweating.

Condensation is an everyday event.

Some of the more common examples of condensation are: Morning dew, when moisture in the air condenses on the grasses cooled during the night. Droplets on your can of soda.

Solidification Examples :

Freezing of water to form ice in an ice cube tray. Formation of snow. Congealing of bacon grease as it cools. Solidification of melted candle wax.

Examples include :

  • Melting Ice to liquid water.
  • Melting of steel (requires very high temperature)
  • Melting of mercury and Gallium (both are liquid at room temperature)
  • Melting of butter.
  • Melting of candle.

Ionization :

Changing Atoms Into Charged Ions

Some examples that you may be familiar with include :

When sodium and chlorine combine to make salt, the sodium atom gives up an electron resulting in a positive charge, while chlorine gets the electron and becomes negatively charged as a result.

Recombination occurs when two molecules of DNA exchange pieces of their genetic material with each other. One of the most notable examples of recombination takes place during meiosis (specifically, during prophase I), when homologous chromosomes line up in pairs and swap segments of DNA.

hope this much helps uh ❣️
