- They are brightly coloured to attract insects.
- They bear nectaries that produce nectar which is fed upon by insects.
- They have sticky pollens and sticky stigmas so that it easily stick to the feet of the insect.
- They are conspicuous and fragrant.
- Their pollens aggregate into sticky mass called pollinia.
Entomophily is most common method of pollination in angiosperms.
