-Hard and inflexible.
-Porous
-Blood vessels are present
-Matrix contains calcium salts and proteins.

Cartilage:

-Cooperatively flexible
-Non-porous
-Blood vessels are absent
-Matrix contains mainly protein

1. Bone is the supporting and protective tissue of vertebrates which prevent internal soft and delicte tissue.
Cartilage is tough, flexible skletal tissue forms endoskleton in vertebrates.
2. Bone is enclosed in a thin layer of white fibrous connective tissue called periosteum.
Cartilage is enclosed in sheath of white fibrous tissue called perichondrium.
