Animal cells are covered by outermost layer called cell membrane or plasma membrane which is composed of proteins and lipid bi-layer. Cell wall is absent in animal cells, as a result animal cells are flexible and some animals cells can move from place to place inside the body, for example, blood cells. Animal cells have various cell organelles such as mitochondria which has its own DNA, golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum. Plastids are absent. Numerous small vacuoles are present instead of one large vacuole like plant cells. Animal cells donot photosynthesize and are therefore have heterotrophic mode of nutrition.

Answer:
Animal cells are found within every animal. The main difference between an animal cell and a plant cell is that animal cells are not able to make their own food. Most animal cells have at least the three main parts: nucleus, cell membrane, and cytoplasm. The nucleus of the cell gives the cell direction.
