give me a story of rat in a cottage

Once upon a time, there was a rat trap seller. He was out in the bazaar selling his rat traps on a cold winter night and all of a sudden it started pouring rain. He wanted to keep himself and his items away from the rain. He looked around and saw a grey cottage. He decide to ask for shelter. When he knocked an old lady opened the door. She was quite unfriendly and said no to him. The man felt remorseful. He saw a shop next to the cottage and went inside it. The shopkeeper not only gave him a hot cup of soup but fresh pair of clothes and bought all his rat traps.
