simple interest
 \frac{60000 \times 9 \times 3}{100}  = 16200 \\ 60000 - 16200 = 43800
60000 - 43800
16200
compound interest
60000(1 +  \frac{9}{100} ) {}^{3}  \\ 60000( \frac{109}{100}) {}^{3}   \\ 60000 \times  \frac{109}{100} \times  \frac{109}{100}  \times  \frac{109}{100}  \\ 6 \times 109 \times 109 \times  \frac{109}{100 }   \\ a = 77701.74
interest =77701.74 - 60000
= 17701.74
difference =17701.74 - 16200
1501.74
so the difference between compound and simple interest is 1501.74
