Mrs Jordan, the sister of Mrs Slater, was much like her sister. Unlike most daughters she was not a caring child. When grandfather lived with her, she had tried to hand him over to her sister as fast as possible. She was very insensitive as well. She did not feel the sorrow that a daughter feels when her father passes away. She was more concerned about the assets that she would get. She was also a prying woman who noticed even a speck of dirt. Her main ambition in life was to outshine her sister. When she received the news of her father's death, her main thought was on the mourning clothes that she should buy. She always liked to get her own way. Her concerns in life where quite materialistic.
