here is ur answer.............

first we have to find its zeroes using spliting the middle term method..............

==> x^{2} -4x +3

==> x^{2} -3x-x +3

==> x(x-3)-1(x-3)

==>  x=1 and x = 3

so, two zeroes are 1 and 3 ........

i.==> (1)^{2}  +  (3)^{2}  

==> 1 + 9

==> 10

ii.  ==> 1^{3} +  3^{3}

==> 1 + 27

==> 28
