Newton's second law of motion can be formally stated as follows: The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.

Answer:

Newton's second law states that acceleration of a particle is dependent on the forces acting upon the particle and the particle's mass. For a given particle, if the net force is increased, the acceleration is increased.

Explanation:

The more mass the object has the more net force has to be used to move it. 5. Examples of Newton's 2nd Law  If you use the same force to push a truck and push a car, the car will have more acceleration than the truck, because the car has less mass.
