Useful-Lactobacillus (curd bacteria)
Harmful-Salmonella typhi (causes typhoid)

2.Fungi
Useful... Penicillium notatum (to make antibiotics)
Harmful-Trichophyton rubrum (Athlete's foot)

3.Algae
Useful-Anabaena (biological nitrogen fixation)
Harmful-Blue-green algae and red tides (produce toxins)

4.Protozoa
Useful-Paramecium (kills harmful bacteria)
Harmful-Plasmodium (malaria fever)

Useful-polio, chicken pox (to make vaccines)

Some useful microbes .....
•Lactobacilus is used for the formation of curd.
•Rizobium is a bacteria found in root nodules of trees and helps in the nitrogen fixation.
•E.coli is found in small as well as large intestine and helps in digesting sugar.
•Septromyses plays an important role for adding organic matter in soil.



Now, some harmful microbes....
•Plasmodium is a protozoan paracite that spreads malaria as it is a protozoan so it need a vector and that vector is Anopheles.
•Salmonella paratyphi bacteria spread typhoid.
•Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that cause peptic ulcers.
•Vibrio cholerae causes an infectious disease that is cholera.
