we know that
S = ut + 1/2 at²
u = 0 , initial velocity
●●S after (5/2) seconds = 1/2 at² = 1/2 *2 * (5/2)² = 6.25m
●●But in the question they ask, the distance travelled by the fifth half second.
●●so we need to remove the distance that is travelled during first for half seconds
●●S after (4/2) seconds = 1/2 a t² = 1/2 * 2 * (4/2)² = 4m
●●so the distance travelled by the particle in 5th half second is
S(5/2) - S(4/2) = 6.25 m - 4m = 2.25m
