These days you will rarely come across a romance novel that might teach you a life's lesson or where the protagonists might leave you teary eyed at the end of the story. Well, I'm talking about the bestselling new adult genre book, Me Before You by the British novelist, Jojo Moyes.

The book opens with the female protagonist, Lou Clark, an unlucky yet funny adult woman with no big dreams or aspirations or determination for a stable career. She works as a waitress for a tea shop but later loses her job that supports her pretty large family.

Desperate for a job that will help to pay the bills and keep her family afloat in the current times, she is advised by her running and fitness-obsessed boyfriend, Patrick, to go to the headhunter. From there she gets an interview offer as a caretaker for an adult wheelchair bound man. This young man, Will Traynor, was once an aspiring and lively handsome man, who was left paralyzed due to a motorcycle accident and which is ebbing away his desire to live. But he knows how to handle the situation, until the day he falls for the imperfect, slightly crazy, way too chatty girl with unique fashion sense and pathetic jokes, Lou Clark.

Unfortunately, romance fans might not find this book satisfying, as the author has cleverly managed to portray some important life's lessons and choices. The book teaches to live life to the fullest and where should one put a full stop through a sweet yet heartbreaking love story that plays in the background like a sweet and soulful tune, not too loud or not too fading. If you are looking for a cheesy no-strings attached kind of a novel, then you need to look away, as this story of Lou and Will is going to leave a lasting impression on the minds of the readers.

The author's writing style is polished and laced with deep, heartfelt emotions that will move the readers. The dialogues in the book are not only British but also hilarious, engaging and free-flowing. The story of the friendship between Lou and Will blossoms eventually through fights, dislikes, misunderstandings and films with subtitles keeping the pace intact.

i hope this will help you...
