He played a very much important and biggest role in physics(science) which is read by us today...
The great source of energy nuclear power plants are worked on principle of special relativity E=mc^2.
Black hole, Big bang and Time travel. This concepts are derived because of theory of relativity and some other ideas.
Because of theory of relativity we could understand the universe more deeply.
Disadvantages
Einstein's contribution to the Quantum theory was only limited into explaining Lenard's photoelectric experiment. Einstein did not apply into other areas of physics However through the application of the Quantum theory his academic paper influenced scientific thinking and broadening perspectives to increase acceptance of the contemporary quantum theory.
In judgement, Einstein built the relationship between the black body radiation and the photoelectric effect, that effectively developed into the increase understanding and applications of the quantum theory...
