Method of defoliation in Moong for combine harvesting is done by spraying Gramoxone (paraquat) when about 80% of the pods are mature.

For one acre ,we can use Gramoxone (paraquat) 800 ml using 150 - 200 litres of water.

**Moong is a kharif pulse crop. Kharif pulse crops are  sown in June-July and are harvested in October - November.
