Ear ossicles:

  • Ear ossicles are smallest bones of a human body.
  • In each ear, there are three ear ossicles present in segment of middle ear, a total which makes six.
  • Names of these ear ossicles are "malleus, incus, and stapes".
  • Malleus is largest of all ear ossicles and is attached to "tympanic membrane" on one side and with incus on other side.
  • Incus is situated between malleus and stapes and joins with both.
  • Stapes is the smallest of all ear ossicles and connects incus with the oval window.
