Both the samples are added to Dilute Sulphuric Acid. Calcium Chloride will react with H2SO4 to form a white precipitate of CaSO4. Lead Chloride will also react with it to produce a white coloured precipitate but the reaction will stop after sometime due to the insoluble coating of lead sulphate on lead Chloride. This indicates the presence of Lead Chloride.
