Example of :

(a) Gas and Gas diffusion

When an agarbatti is lighted in a room after sometimes it's franrance will spread all over the room. This happens because as the agarbatti is lighted it's franrance (air) will soon dissolve in the outside air present in the room.

(b) Gas and Liquid diffusion

Oxygen is dissolved in water. This helps the aquatic organisms to survive.

(c) Solid and Solid diffusion

Pure gold diffuses with pure lead. This shows that solid can diffuse with solid.

(d) Liquid and Liquid diffusion

When water is added to milk, and is stirred for sometime it will be observed that it dissolves with the milk. Here two liquids get dissolved with each other.
