Displacement reaction
The reaction in which a more reaction metal displace a list reaction from its salt solution is called displacement reaction.
Ex-: CuSO4(aq) + Fe(s) = FeSO4(aq) + Cu(s)
Decomposition reaction
When a single reactant break down to simple compounds this is called decomposition reaction.
Ex-: 2FeSO4(s) = heat Fe2O3(s) + SO2(g) + SO3(g)
Combination reaction
A reaction in which a single product is formed from two or more reactants is known as a combination reaction.
Ex-: CaO(s) + H2O(l) = Ca(OH)2(aq) .
