Force is defined as effect through which the motion or position of an object is changed. Thus the force changes the velocity of mass of the object and it starts to accelerate. This is the reason that it depends on mass and acceleration of the object. This is pushing or pulling an object. It is a vector quantity which is described by its magnitude and direction which represents with its units of newton. This is named after the name of scientist Newton’s who gave the concept of force in its second law of motion. 

The most common classification of force is contact and non-contact force. The contact force exists in the physically attached surfaces like normal force, tangential force etc. Here, we are discussing about non-contact forces which exerts between the objects which are physically detached and its different examples.
