(a) Hexagons:
First of all, let us learn about the figure called hexagon.
It is a polygon i.e. having more than one sides in a closed shape where the number of sides are 6. (Meaning of hex is 6).
So, hexagon can be thought of as a closed figure which has 6 number of sides.
In nature, one common example that we see of geometrical shape hexagon in the nature is "Bee Hives"
Please refer to the attached image of bee hives which has meany hexagons together.
(B) Concentric Circles:
Concentric circles are the circles which have the same center point and are of different radii.
In nature, we see concentric circles :
- When we drop a stone in water: It forms a lot of concentric circle. The center of circle is the point where we stop the stone.
- Slice of onion
