Give one example to explain power sharing among different political parties and pressure groups in the Indian context
Answers
There is a multi-party system in the country and they represent different shades in the form culture, ethnicity or population. There exists a power-sharing and competition amongst these parties and hence creates a division.
These political powers are shared and competed for between these different political groups as for different ideologies and social groups and hence there exists fair democracy and this ensures non-concentration of power in one hand. This fair sharing of power ensures proper representation of all the groups and interests or virtually divided classes.
Division of Power among Political Parties, Pressure Groups, and Movements- In contemporary democracies such a division takes the form of competition among different parties, which in turn ensures that power does not remain in one hand and is shared among different political parties representing different ideologies and social groups.
