a)

Nucleoid : genetic material present without a membrane.

Nucleus : genetic material present within the membrane i.e. nuclear membrane

b)

Prokaryotes : has primitive nucleus.
i.e. it’s nucleus is not well defined hence it’s nucleus is known as Nucleoid.
All the bacterias are included under prokaryotes. Also known as Kingdom Monera.

Eukaryotes : has a well defined nucleus.
Eukaryotes maybe unicellular or multicellular.
Rest of the Kingdoms i.e. Protista , Fungi, Plantae and Animalia are all Eukaryotes.
