coz in multicellular organism , if diffusion process occurs to exchange gases then ,
it will take more than 5 yrs and the humN beings doesnot survive
since,
special organs are there that helps in the exchange of gases rapidlyyy....

In large multicellular organism like humans
the oxygen of air will have to travel large distances inside the human body to reach each and every cell . Since diffusion is a very very very slow process so it will take a very long time to make oxygen available to all body cell thus difussion is insufficient to meet the oxygen requirement of multicellular organism like humans because the volume of human body is so big .
