Political parties are a necessity for democracy.In India there are many minorities such as ST and ST who often don't come up in elections due to their unpopularity or in the legislative.In such situations parties some parties are formed to represent them.Also sometimes some parties are formed only representing some particular cast. In such ways politics and caste are related .
