Transpiration is one of the most important biological activities of the plant anatomy.
In this process the the excessive water in the plant body is evaporated by the external heat in the environment.
But the desert region plants primarily face water scarcity and they want to prevent the unnecessary water transpiration in the following ways:
1) Their leaves are like needles in order to reduce the surface of transpiration.
2) A layer of wax is naturally applied on their body to prevent unnecessary transpiration.
And many more.
