Because the humans (people) have feelings ,emotions like sadness, happiness, fearness, anger, excitement etc. but the things doesn't have feelings.

Example : If the human beings are hurted so they have a feeling which is sadness but when a chair or table is crashed (takkar) so it don't feel something.
